Careers Hive Event Scotland

Our new careers education event, Careers Hive, will run from the 29 Feb – 4 Mar at the National Museum of Scotland and will engage 3000 S1-S3 pupils (12-15 year olds) who are about to choose their electives for secondary school. Its aim will be to inspire them to choose additional STEM electives by highlighting the wide breadth of career opportunities made available by taking these additional STEM subjects.

The event will consist of three parts: a Careers Workshop; a Talks Programme with inspiring speakers; and a Future Careers & Tech Expo that will feature information, activities and the volunteers from our industry partners. What will set Careers Hive apart from other careers events is that it will be a guided experience while the Careers Workshop will help young people understand what they want from a career as well as what strengths and skills are needed in the job market. We are also going to host a high number of STEM volunteers from our industry partners speak directly with young people.
