Soft Skills Britain

Sharing Perspectives, Supporting Productivity.

Soft Skills Britain works to highlight and promote the value of Employability and Soft Skills and supports conversations between young people and businesses.

We do this as the UK has a Soft Skills issue with 75 – 80% of employers believing that young people and graduates are lacking the Soft Skills required to do well in the workplace.

Almost two-thirds of 16-25 year-olds think businesses only care about academic grades when hiring.

As employers, and TV people, we have put together a short video course which shares real-world stories of soft skills successes and failures.  The course also supports students to discuss this issue with employers and to find out what skills they are after.
