National Employability Skills Initiative (NESi)

There is one thing that we’re sure everyone involved in the education and employment of young people feels strongly about: the need for every student to #BeReady for the world of work.

All evidence points to the need for quality employability skills learning to be available in education – something agreed by young people, educationalists, employers and careers professionals alike.

This is exactly why NESi has been created. Our mission is:

All students across the UK, regardless of socio-economic background, should be given free access to accredited employability skills training before they leave school.

This mission can be achieved with your help and support – we will make this change happen and ensure that all students are better prepared for the world of work by having access to free, accredited, employability skills training.

NESi is a national initiative which is supported by key stakeholders representing education, employers, careers professionals and young people. Join us and make a real difference for every student.

We need your support

Join us and make a real difference for every young person.  In preparation for the launch please complete this very short form with a quote with your pledge for employability. We will then create a graphic to share your pledge on our Social Media Channels as well as the official National Careers Week accounts. We get to publicise great ideas, and you get lots of exposure on social media. Everybody wins.
